So... you want to know more about me? Great!
I consider myself a curiosity-guided, dedicated and solution-oriented trainer, translator, and subtitler, with almost 10 years of experience now (Ten! OMG! When did that happen?).
I studied Translation in Guatemala, where I was born and raised. I also have a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation. I love studying and learning new things!
I recently moved to West Michigan, where I am enjoying my free time volunteering at the local theater and the art museum. I enjoy being an active member in my community.
Last but not least, I host a show on YouTube, El café de la tarde, where I talk with interpreters, translators and language specialists about a variety of topics pertaining our amazing profession... and I have lots of fun doing it!
I am also a proud active member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and the Michigan Translators/ Interpreters Network (MiTin), a Chapter of the ATA in the Midwest area. I actively volunteer with the ATA Spanish Division and the Medical Division.
